Rory Tucker

Currently I am a promotions assistant for CBS Radio. I assist in the planning and execution of events and promotions for BUZN 102.9, WCCO 830 and JACK 104.1. I act as a brand ambassador for these stations as well a station liaison with event sponsors, clients and listeners.

During the 2014 season I was a Ticket Sales and Service Loyalty Intern with the Minnesota Twins Baseball Club. As a loyalty intern I am responsible for maintaining the Sweet Spot season ticket holder retention database. I am also accountable for allocating benefits to season ticket holders as well as managing these season ticket holder events for each home stand. My job duties include both office tasks as well as game day and on-field responsibilities.

Previously I interned at Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People. As a non-profit VEAP operates the largest food pantry in the state of Minnesota as well as offering Children and Youth Services, Social Services and Transportation Programs. I supported VEAP in their marketing efforts by updating content on the VEAP.org website, writing and distributing press releases and coordinating marketing and promotional materials.

Prior to my previous position I was a Marketing Coordinator for Morale Entertainment Foundation, a production management company who works closely with the United States Military and the Wounded Warrior Project. I've created press releases, media kits and other program materials including marketing and promotional merchandise, banners and tour budget reports. I managed foundation events involving astronauts Neil Armstrong and Jim Lovell as well as Chip Kelly and other NCAA Football Coaches and Indy 500 Racecar drivers including Mario Andretti to boost morale of service members and their families around the globe.

I was responsible for coordinating all tickets and seating for the Quicken Loan Carrier Classic and have overseen the execution of national and international events including London, Germany, New York as well as Afghanistan and Iraq. I have organized live stage appearances, networking and fundraising events.
