Rory Brown is the co-founder of Briefing Media Ltd. - a business media company specialising in agribusiness and media strategy. The company's first site is www.TheMediaBriefing.com.

In 2012 Briefing Media bought the agriculture and primary healthcare media assets - Farmers Guardian, Pulse and related products - from UBM in a private equity backed deal. We also added the UK's largest agricultural equipment exhibition, LAMMA to the portfolio.

[The Pulse part of the portfolio was sold to Cogora Ltd in November 2013].

Prior to founding Briefing Media Rory was a divisional managing director at Incisive Media responsible for Search Engine Watch, ClickZ, Search Engine Strategies and the Online Information show. Rory's background is in marketing and was a director of the Specialized information Publishers Association in the UK and a board member of the US side of the association.
