His venture into the construction world began at 23 when he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, to work as a mason. This experience honed his skills in craftsmanship, which he further developed upon returning to Monte Vista, Colorado. There, he and his father opened Chief Liquor, a business they operated successfully for five years before selling it to focus on his passion for building.

Founding Masterpiece Home Improvement and Crown Construction, Rory quickly established a reputation for constructing exceptional custom homes and renovations. His projects in the San Luis Valley and around Durango/Arboles are celebrated for their stunning designs and impeccable construction, showcasing his ability to transform visions into reality.
