Rosalinda Castillo possesses a strong background in diversity training, affirmative action program development, and procurement. Currently, Rosalinda Castillo serves as the deputy director of procurement at the Public Building Commission of Chicago.

In 1991, Ms. Castillo began her work in the municipal sector as the director of affirmative action at the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority (MPEA) in Chicago. In this capacity, she created an affirmative action program that encouraged women- and minority-owned businesses. She also spearheaded the development of the MPEA’s discrimination and sexual harassment prevention initiatives.

Ms. Castillo left the MPEA to take a position as the special assistant to the associate administrator of the General Services Administration (GSA). Her duties included supervising employees of the Office of Small Business Utilization program.

Following her one-year position with the GSA, Ms. Castillo transitioned into procurement and capital services. She was named the contract administration manager of the capital improvement program for the Chicago Public Schools.
