Dr. Rosalind Y. Tompkins

Author, Speaker, Pastor, Humanitarian, Life-Coach, Consultant, Columnist/Blogger, Media Personality--Dr. Rosalind Y. Tompkins is well known in Tallahassee, Florida and surrounding areas because of her work with families and communities in crisis. She founded Mothers In Crisis, Inc. (MIC) in 1991. MIC is a non-profit, community-based organization comprised of women and men in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Through MIC she has impacted the lives of thousands of families. She also founded Turning Point International Church in 1998 where she currently serves as an Apostle and the Senior Pastor.

She received a Doctorate of Humanities Degree from the Five Fold Ministry Theological University in 2012 recognizing her as a Humanitarian for the work that she has done for the past two decades to end drug and alcohol addiction and to relieve the suffering of families afflicted by the disease of addiction. Dr. Tompkins is the published author of the books, “What Is It? Defining, Finding, and Obtaining Your It", “As Long As There Is Breath In Your Body, There Is Hope”, “Rare Anointing”, “You Are Beautiful” and a contributing author in “Girl Get Your Fight Back”. She connects with others through C.O.F.F.E.E (Collaborative/Community Opportunities for Freedom & Economic Empowerment) in order to strengthen and add value to individual and collective assignments and mandates for purpose and destiny to be revealed and fulfilled. This is accomplished through joint ventures and partnerships, and television, radio, and internet collaborative initiatives.

The Florida State University graduate has literally branded the Tallahassee and surrounding areas with the now famous trademark, “As Long As There Is Breath In Your Body, There Is Hope®”. She is a Spiritual Life Coach and Apostle Tompkins is also a Prophetic Poet who writes and recites poetry and spoken word. With compassion, a ready smile, and the anointing, she preaches and teaches in many venues throughout the nation and around the world. Her passion in life is to affect positive change and to see lives transformed.

Dr. Rosalind Y. Tompkins overcame drug-addiction, sexual abuse, divorce, and other challenges through the power of the Lord Jesus Christ; thus giving her valuable wisdom that she uses to help others who are experiencing challenges and setbacks in life.
