Rosalyn Bolton

I was born and grew up in Kent aka 'The Garden of England.' I loved living so close to London as I was able to hop on a train to London to see all the current theatrical productions. However, I couldn't wait to get out into the world and off to University. Initially, I went to University to study Psychology, but, after 3 days, I decided that theatre and the arts was my true passion, I wanted to immerse myself within it, so I took a leap of faith and changed my course. (One of the best decisions I ever made!) I studied Theatre Studies with Film and Television Studies at the University of Derby for three years and obtained a high 2:2 classification.

Since then, I have gone on to work in customer services for nearly two years for a photographic company, being both first and second tier customer service for the full customer base. This role allowed for me to structure my own days, setting goals and deadlines and working independently for my department whilst also maintaining my role as a team player within the overall company.

I love to learn new things, particularly, hands on and creative things. I try to go to the theatre and cinema as much as possible to keep up with new productions. I also like to read popular fiction and write for my blog and have even been known to write the odd poetry piece!!
