I am the President of Tropical Nostalgia Inc, providing "Miami After Dark" wines - the coolest drink for the hottest place in the Tropics - and luxury gifting.

I am also a veteran educator for Miami-Dade County Public Schools in Little Havana where I teach children from the Spanish-speaking immigrant community. Previously, I was a franchise manager and buyer for Cohen’s Fashion Optical, a New York-based luxury retail and medical outfit.

I am also contributing producer for the radio program “Miami After Dark” which serves as a platform to discuss current events, politics, and urban living. We're relaunching the program in November 2016.

The world would a much duller place is no one did anything for their neighbor. Thus, I have worked with numerous community organizations to help neighborhoods deal with local government.. I am also focused on developing new park spaces and improving parks programming through the Miami Parks Foundation and Friends of Douglas Park.

I celebrate the American Dream but I have deep roots in Cuba, too. I am the daughter of Cuban exile parents Magaly and Jose J. Palomino. My father was a 28-year administrator for the hospitality program at Lindsey Hopkins Technical Education Center. My grandfather Jose Palomino-Lecuona was a congressman to Cuba’s House of Representatives before the Cuban Revolution. Ernesto Lecuona the renowned composer and pianist was my grandfather’s cousin. Lecuona gave Cuban Classical Music to the world.

I served as an elected member of the Miami-Dade Republican Party Executive Committee (12-16) and won election for party Vice-Chair (12). I ran unsuccessfully for City of Miami District 2 commissioner in 2015.
