The first step in the acquisition of wisdom is silence, the second listening, the third memory, the fourth practice, the fifth teaching others. Solomon Ibn Gabirol

I am originally from this area and I moved back in 2010 to be near family after returning from Tokyo, Japan. I spent a year teaching English there. It was an awesome experience, but I am so glad to be home (specifically the U.S.); there is no place like home. :) Before moving to Tokyo, I lived in Atlanta, GA for several years and Jacksonville, FL for almost a year. I miss Atlanta a lot mainly because of the culture/stuff to do as well as all my friends up there. I also travel to Savannah quite frequently because I love the area and have tons of friends there. To sum it up, I love to travel and experience new things. God made this huge, wonderful world for us to explore and learn about, and I don't believe his intentions were for us to do it while sitting on our keisters. :)

I love the great outdoors and nature, another words, I am not afraid to get dirty or get my feet wet. Everything from scuba diving, white water rafting, kayaking to skydiving-- I've done all and I'm up for any new adventure. I also really want to go hang gliding and hot air ballooning soon. I also love hiking and camping every chance I get. I also love motorcycles and I hope to own a Harley one day.

My family, my friends and my dogs are very important to me. Three of the main reasons it feels so good to be HOME!! :)

Someone else that is extremely important to me is God. I've been a Christian since I was about five years old (Unfortunately, though over the years I've strayed a time or two but since reaching adulthood I've realized how important a relationship with God is; it just makes life easier.) I was raised in a non-denominational church; my mom was an assistant pastor. Currently, I want to get more active in my current church but my work schedule doesn't allow it at this time. (Please be praying with me about this.)

Another one of my interests is music. I love the music scene also which Tokyo and Atlanta both had a great deal of and I'm not so sure how South Alabama compares to either since I've been gone for so long. Maybe you can inform me... :) I love a lot of different kinds of music the oldies, country, jazz to R&B and everything in between.

Any other questions please ask. I'm pretty much an open book.
