This is one of my favorite quotes. I think that it is very inspiring and motivating because every day is a gift. We constantly have struggles and barriers but we also have the chance to overcome them. Whenever I am struggling to get up in the morning or when I just feel lazy, I read this quote and remember how much potential I have and that I cannot waste it. I have the power to accomplish whatever I want but if I just sit around and don't make things happen, then I can never expect them to. Dr. Seuss always knows how to remind me that I have a purpose and that every day I have the chance to go find that purpose.

My favorite things to do are baking and photography! I love baking because I love to see people's smiles when I bring them a baked good. I also love exploring different cultures through baking. By making a loaf of Italian bread, I get to expore Italy or by making a blueberry crip, I can remember my trip to Maine. My nerdy side likes the pressure and that baking is such a precise procedure because one small mishap and the whole dish is ruined. Baking is definitely my best way of connecting and sharing myself with the world. I also love photography because I love capturing a moment and an emotion in a snapshot that can be saved forever. It is a hard hobby to keep up because equipment is expensive but when I get a perfect shot, it is all so worth it! The Dr Seuss quote, baking, and photography are a few ways that I like to express myself and that really define who I am as a person.
