Rosebell is a communications specialist, digital strategist, public speaker and award-winning blogger.

She has experienced in new media, digital audience engagement, communications strategies, and gender, women peace and security issues.

Sheis currently working as Public Information Officer and Social Media Manager at the Department of Emergencies at the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

She hasworked as a multi-media communications consultant for various international organizations includingcampaigning with Oxfam and the Nobel Women’s Initiative.

The World EconomicForum recognized Rosebell as one of the Young Global Leaders under the age of40 in 2013 because of her advocacy on social justice issues faced by many inAfrica.

Rosebell has used new media tools to document and advocate for women’s rights in situations of armed conflict in Uganda, DRC, South Sudan and Liberia.

Rosebell is a critic of media narratives onAfrica . She studied non-violent conflict at Tufts University and holds a Masters Degree in Media, Peace andConflict studies.
