I graduated from Law School, at Universidade Federal do Piaui, in 1984. After spending two years in Australia, for personnal reasons, working as a translator, I went back to Brazil, more precisely to Teresina, where I worked as a lawyer for the next twenty-five years. In 2005 I post-graduated in international commerce form Universidade Catolica de Brasilia. During my career I also worked in both public and private positions, as manager/counseller. After a sabattical year spent in France, where I adqurired training in the French language both at Université Sorbonne IV and III, in which I did 6 months of a Master ! in legal and finacial translation, I moved back to Brazil, this time in Brasilia, where I work presently as a legal counseller at the brazilian Senate (Senado Federal), and as a translator/interpreter. My last work as such was during the Rio+20 UN Conference on Sustainable Development, at the UN Offices. Presently working at the Senate, in Brasilia and doing translation work as well as English tutoring.
