Known for her versatility, passion, musicianship, and style, violinist Rosemary Siemens has mesmerized audiences the world over since the age of three. Equally comfortable with classical and pop music, her diverse talents and improvisational skills have led to countless performance opportunities, including three different performances at New York’s Carnegie Hall, one of which debuted a combined hip-hop and classical concert; performing as the first instrumentalist ever at St. Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican; playing at the Latin Grammy’s in Miami; entertaining at numerous private concerts, including for Donald Trump at his Mar-A-Lago estate in Palm Beach; performing at two concerts at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics; and even opening Hockey Night in Canada. Most recently, Rosemary was selected as one of the top 20 out of thousands of applicants for Canada’s “Got Talent” live video audition. Rosemary is currently on tour through the United States and Canada with her internationally acclaimed Pop-Opera group Destino, who just released its new album entitled “Beginning Again.” She will follow up her six previous CDs, which range from gospel to electronic, with the release of her debut solo Pop album, featuring many original tracks. In the 2012 season, Rosemary premiered a violin concerto called the Journey, with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, written for her by Canadian composer, Victor Davies. She also had the great honour of being awarded the Queens Diamond Jubilee medal. Rosemary plays a 1714 Claude Pierray violin on loan to her from a generous donor. When Rosemary is not making music, she is pursuing another passion—design. She has created her own line of glamorous instrument covers called BOOM FASHION COVERS, By Rosemary.
