Rose Newton

Rose Newton is a published and award winning designer, creative strategist and design thinker. As a Design Team Lead & Manager at IBM Design in Austin, she leads a team that develops enterprise business software. She spent 14 years as a design professor with a focus on typography, design thinking methodologies and the creative process. Additionally, Rose has served on both the AIGA Austin Board and the AIGA Houston Board.

Although formally trained as an architect and a graphic designer, her design interests spans the entire design spectrum. Her design approach is collaborative in nature and incorporates different aspects of design.
