Rose Overbey Silva
Educator in Washington, DC
I have been working with elementary general and special education students for over a decade. I encourage students to do their best by fostering a growth mindset while developing strong foundational academic skills that will prepare them for success. My approach is learner-centered. I bring a variety of texts students can choose from as we work towards our academic goals. I tailor games, writing prompts and activities to student interests and real-world connections. I believe learning should be fun and exciting.
