I'm originally from a small town in Upstate, NY. I earned my degrees fromMonroe Community College and St John Fisher in Rochester, NY. I started a career in geriatrics as a recreation director in a nursing home, living in Rochester with my husband for over 14 years. I've now lived in North Carolina for 15 years. I started my North Carolina venture, Wilson Marketing, in the city of Raleigh in '08 after I became a Mary Kay Sales Director, earning first level car. I realize sales is not the "sales" that I love. It's the coordinating of the right people with the right project that ignites me. I love connecting. I truly am a "match-up" expert for the business professional. I enjoy training, resourcing, connecting and motivating but what i especially love is helping small businesses expand. When someone wants to move to another successful level its exciting to have a product , or service, useful to them. I've spent the last 19 years in the direct sales, small business and marketing arena. I have sold many types of products and services and built and trained sales teams nationally. I have a heart for the local small business owner which is why I buy and shop local as much as I can. I moved to Cornelius NC three years ago due to a major company transfer which turned out to be a bust! Full time I represent a fantastic service called "work for myself" and help small business owners do what they absolutely wont do and that's simply pick up the phone. Yup, Appt. setting. What I like about what I do genuinely is providing the missing piece to a small business owner when they may not be able to get their appt. booked another way . I can get it done. Even in the age of social media and technology, a personal phone call is hard to beat. Honestly the foundation for a strong business is reaching the next lead. My phone calling expertise gets people noticed. Ispend time traveling between family in Upstate, NY and my lovely little house in Cornelius. Married to my high school sweetheart my husband has had a number of strokes over the last 7 years and is disabled. We reside in two worlds. We are the proud parents of a boy and a girl......two adorable rescue dachshunds. :) We have a bit of an unconventional life but it works well for us! As my mom always says "dont judge someone else unless you've walked in their shoes."
