After over 30 years working in Local Governemnt and the private sector, I took a break from Social Work to work alongside my husband running a small hotel in Austria where we specialise in holidays for bikers, hikers, climbers and other people wanting to enjoy what the glorious Alps have to offer! But social work is what I do best, so after a couple of years i found myself setting up, along with some erst while friends and colleagues, an independent group of similarly minded social work and education welfare professionals. Now I spend my summers in Austria and most of my winters in the UK keeping both things going by delving into the ever-changing world of social media - of which this page is just another example!
