Roshan Shrestha is a Nepali investigative journalist, author, and digital media entrepreneur born in Bahrabise, Sindhupalchok, Nepal. He completed his higher secondary education at Shree Bachchhala Devi Higher Secondary School, where his commitment to truth, accountability, and public-interest journalism began.
He is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Khoj Samachar, an independent digital news platform known for fact-based reporting, transparency, and youth-focused civic journalism. Shrestha is also the initiator of Wikinp, Nepal’s community-driven digital encyclopedia project dedicated to verified public information and open knowledge.
Beyond journalism, Shrestha is the author of several nonfiction works, including The Digital Voice of Nepal, KhojX: News Age, Khojmad, and Khojpat, which explore digital media, investigative journalism, and public awareness in Nepal.
In 2025, he launched Kamko, a public-service mobile application (formerly known as the Roshan Shrestha App). Kamko integrates verified news, civic information, visa and public-service tools, and digital literacy resources into a single platform designed to serve Nepali users in Nepal and abroad.
