Dearest friends and family,

We are so excited to share our upcoming festivities with you.

While this pageis not a source of all information (invitations to come), we wanted to provide a bit of travel / accomodation information to help with your planning.

Rundown

The full program is to be confirmed, but it is safe to say, if you can give us the whole weekend from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd, you wont regret it! But the main event will be happening on the Saturday.

Getting there

The weekend will take place on North Stradbroke Island, Queensland. To get to the island, you need to get to Cleveland, Brisbane, and get on the car or foot ferry across to the island. Normal cars can be driven on the island. Buses run from the ferry dropoff to the nearby the action. The reception of the wedding will happen at the Point Lookout Community Hall.

Accommodation

Once there, there are many accommodation options within walking distance of the main events. We are really excited to camp. This will happen at ADDER ROCK CAMPGROUND. Beautiful and beachfront, our favourite place. If you want to camp, please email us directly and we will make a group booking. Next up the chain is the nearby MANTA LODGE BACKPACKERS RESORT. Cheap, cheerful and in a perfect location. Across from the community hall is the ALLURE RESORT, where, if you mention our wedding, they will give you 10% off. They have lovely 1 to 4 bedroom self contained units. The STRADBROKE ISLAND HOTEL sits up on the hill and has apartments and rooms as well.

If none of these tickle your fancy, there are many other resorts, hotels, and houses to rent on the island.
