Rosie Clarke
events director, Writer, and advocacy in New York, NY, USA
I’ve been at the helm of curating, planning, marketing, and executing events for 5+ years, from research to development, securing talent, finding venues, producing timelines, budgets, and floor-plans, locating vendors, creating contracts, and of course running the events. I am passionate about cultural programming for its creative, rewarding, and impactful qualities.
I specialize in producing events that are simultaneously engaging, entertaining, educational, and revenue generating. My main focus has been on literary, political, and advocacy-based programming. I’ve also run intimate events in unique spaces, multi-event series, offsite rentals, large festivals, conferences, fundraisers, parties, and benefit dinners. At my two most recent positions, I was also the venue manager and processed rental applications.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with people in a wide range of disciplines, from labor organizers, activists, legal professionals, academics, authors, poets, historians, and public figures to comedians, musicians, drag performers, burlesque dancers, and actors.
