Ross’ underlying motivation is a passion for solving people’s problems, and this has been a theme throughout his career in a broad range of roles in government and private enterprise. From small business to multinational corporations, Ross has gained a strong grounding in retail, customer service, sales, call centre operations, helpdesk services, voice network management, insurance, corporate lending, human resources, corporate training and team building, database creation and management, personal and executive assistance, and graphic and online design. With his ability to rapidly absorb and retain detail, and create elegant solutions to business problems, Ross is the person you go to when you need to know how to do something.
Ross' introduction to Salesforce.com was through one of his clients. Always eager to do things better, Ross was intrigued by this new way of thinking and saw the potential. Very soon after this introduction Salesforce.com was implemented as the backbone to his remote administration business allowing a workforce and client base, located across every state and territory of Australia, to work together as if they were located at a single site. Salesforce.com enabled time management, billing, telephony management and billing, email and sms to be combined on a single platform. During this time Ross undertook training with Salesforce.com in San Francisco and achieved Salesforce.com Administrator Certification along with connections to product managers and consultants from around the world.
Since 2010, Ross has been working exclusively with Salesforce.com creating solutions for Vodafone Hutchison Australia. With a focus on automation of business sales, he re-imagined the Fighting Funds Allocation system, and gained awards for his Trial Handset Management System.
In 2011 Ross completed further training in San Francisco achieving certification as both an Service Cloud Consultant and Sales Cloud Consultant.
Ross is seeking to utilise and enhance his experience at delivering business applications from the cloud.
