Rotimi Owolabi

Policy and Research Analyst in Nigeria

Rotimi Owolabi is a digital policy and legal professional working at the intersection of technology, policy, and development, with a focus on building inclusive digital economies, advancing ethical technologies, and creating enabling environments for entrepreneurship across Africa. His commitment drives active engagement in policy development and multi-stakeholder collaboration.

He has served as a Research Fellow at the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP) and at Emerging Technology for Emerging Markets (E4E). He is also a member of the Programs Team of the Nigeria Youth Internet Governance Forum (NYIGF), where he contributes to stakeholder engagement and helps shape national conversations on internet governance.

At DigitA, he advises on and supports digital transformation projects across multiple African countries. Rotimi is a member of the Internet Society (ISOC) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, and is a Fellow of the Nigerian School on Internet Governance.
