Richmond Outreach Center

The Richmond Outreach Center is all about changing the lives of everyone. It is a church that is non-denominational and focuses its attention on helping others in having a general belief in Jesus Christ and God. Not only do they except people from all walks of life but they hope to attract even more of the younger generation, especially those who are fed up with organizational religion.

Reaching the Community

The Richmond Outreach Center has its own way of reaching people and it is by implementing a type of service that you would not see at a typical church. On Saturday nights, they have service which appeals to more of the younger crowd with music that is played by a live band. On top of this, tradition hymns are also incorporated into the program for those who also enjoy them.

Led by pastor G, new members are encouraged to introduce themselves to the congregation and are welcomed to listen in on stories that are absolutely life changing. Because of the reception that takes place after service is over, people are able to walk around and get to know others whose life have been changed by this congregation. There are also weekly bible studies that take place on Thursdays nights.

Other Services Provided

A nursery is available for smaller children, and there are classes for small children who are divided into age groups that are filled with crafts, activities and other things to keep them busy so that parents can take full advantage of church services. The studies and services are designed to help individuals live a life that is more in tune with what god wants, and because of this, a study shows that the crime rate has dropped since the church opened its doors.

In fact, many younger individuals tend to stay in school and even take their religion to another level by eventually ministering to the public. Located in Richmond Virginia, they have a variety of after school programs like swimming as well as GED preparation for those that can benefit from it. They teach individuals basic computer skills and by offering many sales in thrift stores, they are able to help many people in those communities that are stricken by poverty.
