Rowdy Folk

Rowdy Folk is a three piece Americana band made up of two Oklahoma fellas and a gal from Texas. Using guitar, banjo, harmonica, piano, and just about every percussive device you can think of (including stomping their boots on tambourines and wooden floors), they bring a raucous good time and bigger sound than three people should be able to manage. Rowdy Folk writes and plays the kind of music that's hard to pin down – a little bit each of alt-country, rock-n-roll and bluegrass, with a healthy does of folk. But who cares about genre? Rowdy Folk is exactly what the name suggests: good-time, big-spirited, American music brought to you by folks who like to get a little rowdy.
