I come from a long line of marketers. My grandfather started his own ad agency back in 1985. Over the years, he worked on accounts that included the U.S. Army, Corona beer, Canadian Club, and French-owned Virbac Pharmaceuticals. My mother has followed in his footsteps, working on brands like Zaxby's, Denny's, Powerball, and Smoothie King.

That's probably why I played "advertising" as a kid. I loved drawing ads for imaginary products. I loved it so much that I walked a mile with my aunt just to buy markers for my advertisements! (I don't use markers anymore, but I have just as much fun with Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.)

In 2010, I started my marketing career in social media with a successful primary campaign. After my candidate won, I went to law school to strengthen my writing and analytic skill sets while gaining insight into the legal problems facing the marketing field. I am particularly interested in the legal issues involving digital marketing, like the CAN-SPAM Act and privacy policies. My legal background is useful when navigating the online risks that brands and clients face everyday.

Since graduating in 2013, I've established a history of delivering results. I work for the NRA's newly formed digital team, creating top performing ads, social media campaigns, and branding messages.
