I have over 30 years of rich experience in different facets of management, mainly in the area of Human Resources, of which the last 20 years has been at the leadership level. I was part of the strategy team and an influencer at the top team level. I’m currently on the Governing board of Rajagiri School of business. He has been the President of the Kolkata chapter of NHRDN during 2005-06 and also served a s Chairman of Multi-National Remuneration club of India in 2005.

An accomplished senior HR and OD professional, I was heading Human Resources function for MRF Tyres (along with its two subsidiaries - Funskool Toys and Vapocure Paints), the largest tyre manufacturer in the country in India, till recently. I wash a member of the Executive Committee - strategy arm of the company.

Earlier in his career, I had a strong grounding in employee relations, employee engagement and culture building at the factory level and corporate level. Helped craft the Purpose of an organization as overall culture building exercise. Foundation blocks in functional areas like Selection, Assessment Centers, Development Centers, Job Evaluation, productivity improvements - blue and white collar, compensation & benefits, building teams, restructuring and redesigning organization, Learning & Development both at India and global level, succession planning and performance management (including designing performance management systems to assess performance as well as potential assessment). Liaisoning with government bodies, trade bodies. I have had overseas stint with British American Tobacco in their Compensation & Benefits team in London.
