About Me

I've spent more than two decades solving operational problems where mistakes carry real consequences.

My career began after graduating from the National University of Singapore, serving with MINDEF before moving into leadership roles across corrections, education, facilities management and security. Along the way, I served in Singapore Prisons, led specialist operational teams, held executive leadership positions—including Chief Operating Officer of an international school group in Bangkok—and advised organisations responsible for complex, high-risk operations.

Across every industry, I kept seeing the same problem.

Organisations invest heavily in technology, yet critical operational knowledge remains trapped inside experienced people. When they leave, retire or make the wrong decision under pressure, that knowledge often disappears with them.

That observation led me to found First Forge, an operational transformation advisory that helps organisations redesign the way they operate before investing in technology, AI or growth.

It also led me to establish Aetomic, where I'm building Lightbringer—an Operational Intelligence Engine designed to capture, preserve and apply organisational reasoning so that businesses can make better operational decisions at scale. Its first application, AEGIS, brings that intelligence into frontline operations and command environments.

I don't believe AI's greatest contribution is replacing people.

I believe its greatest opportunity is preserving human judgement, strengthening operational thinking and helping organisations reason more consistently as they become increasingly complex.

Outside work, I've spent much of my life studying martial arts. The discipline, resilience and systems thinking developed on the mat continue to shape how I lead, build companies and approach difficult problems.

I write and speak regularly about Operational Intelligence, organisational design, leadership, AI adoption, security, facilities management and the future of operational excellence.
