Roy LaRocca

Roy LaRocca is a 20-year-old student in the digital video production program at Durham College. His interests include skateboarding, snowboarding, hockey, photography and video. Roy has been in a few programs before but never found what he was truly interested in until now. Digital video is a growing media that Roy wants to be a part of it, he always been interested in video every since was very young. Roy has been videoing skateboarding since the 9th grade and has recently got into snowboard filming. He makes edits of his friends and himself in various sports for fun. Roy has also shot and edited a music video for a band. Roy enjoys music and sport digital video because It is challenging, fast passed and creative which is what he enjoys. He gets to show how things are seen through his eyes and be spontaneous and risk taking to get the right shot. This motivates him to do the best job he possibly can to tell the story.
