Rane Brennan

Rane Brennan is aiming to become a successful business professional through the aid of continuous education, international experiences and volunteering his time with important social causes. His employment goals upon graduating are based on his interests in the areas of oil and gas, real estate and athletics. Rane’s high degree of sociability and versatility, and his entrepreneurial spirit have earned him impeccable references from past employers.

Enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce Co-Operative program in at Memorial University, Rane is taking courses that will hone his skills in the areas of marketing, finance, business development and entrepreneurship. Rane is also completing three work-terms as part of his program, which will increase his knowledge of the business world, develop his ability to multitask and think critically, and enhance his strengths in working under pressure and within strict timelines.

With work experience requiring a high level of interaction with clients and colleagues in more than 20 countries worldwide, Rane has broadened his knowledge of international business and cultural diversity. He is using his love of travel to continue his development in this area by participating in an international exchange with the Waterford Technical Institute in Ireland where Rane will live for four months and take several relevant business courses.

As a member of the Bachelor of Commerce class of 2015 student council, Rane is responsible for the working with Business students and faculty members for planning, organizing, and promoting events, as well as raising money for graduation week. Rane also volunteers his time coaching and refereeing sporting events, assisting with political campaigns, and fundraising for charities such as Christmas Child and Coalition of Persons with Disabilities.
