Rui Pedro Caldeira is a Senior Software Engineer at Infinera working on the TNMS project. He is also a Second Cycle (MSc) Student of Informatics Engineering in Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa as well as a Junior Researcher in the Navigators Group at LaSIGE under the advisement of Professor José Rufino and Ricardo Correia Pinto. His current position as a junior researcher helped him to get acquainted with a big variety of technologies, paradigms and problems related to real-time systems and the research that is being developed to solve (or minimize) these problems.
He got his Licentiate degree in 2013 from that same institution with a final grade of 14/20.
In the future expects to get his PhD. but as he goes on with his course, he finds more and more ways to which he can expand his knowledge.
