In addition to librarianship and literature, my academic interests are in politics, religion, oral history, American studies and popular culture. As a librarian and information professional I believe how and with whom we share information, is a fundamental marker of the well-being of an organization, and the social well-being of a nation. As a trained archivist I am passionate about using such techniques as community archiving and document strategy to bring to light the voices of those communities traditionally marginalized and underrepresented in the historical record.

Committed to personal and career growth, and life-long learning.
