Ricardo is an Emmy nominated Producer with 10+ years of experience in nonfiction and documentary series working with creatives, crew, and subjects ranging from world leaders and pro athletes to everyday people.

Some of his credits include “Messi's World Cup: The Rise of a Legend” (Apple TV+), for which he received a Sports Emmy nomination for Outstanding Documentary Series - Serialized, and a Producers Guild Awards nomination for Outstanding Sports Program; the series finale of "Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath” (A&E), which received a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series or Special; and “Gutsy" (Apple TV+) with Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton, which received a Critics Choice Real TV Awards nomination for Best Structured Series.

Before moving to Los Angeles in 2013, Ricardo grew up in the border town of Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, and graduated with a bachelors of science in Film and a masters of science in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida.

Besides developing his own projects and producing thought-provoking and inspiring programs, Ricardo is actively involved with the Producers Guild of America and The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. In his time off, he enjoys playing and watching tennis, working out, going to the movies, and trying new restaurants.
