RSA Academy

Headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, RSA Academy offers aspiring performing artists classroom instruction in all aspects of television, film, and music. The co-founders of RSA Academy possess extensive familiarity with pop culture. Adam H. Hurstfield has enjoyed a lengthy and successful career as a music manager, songwriter, and producer. As co-founder and Executive Vice President of RockSTAR Music Corp., he has helped a number of artists achieve success on the Canadian music charts. In addition, he has toured with internationally renowned stars such as Rihanna, 50 Cent, Lady Gaga, Enrique Iglesias, and Backstreet Boys.

RSA Academy’s focus extends beyond helping children, teens, and young adults achieve success in today’s highly competitive film and music industries. RSA Academy emphasizes performance skills to last a lifetime, offering students the benefit of hands-on education in technical aspects of their craft. Working closely with RSA Academy instructors, students learn elements of acting such as cold reading, dialects, voice-overs, improvisation, and auditions. Singing classes at RSA Academy offer focused instruction in studio recording, stage presence, and live stage and music-video performance.

All applicants to RSA Academy are required to complete an audition, which involves a commercial read or sing. They do not need to have prior auditioning experience. RSA Academy instructors possess a firm commitment to developing the potential of young actors and singers, and they are willing to accept serious students based on demonstrated creativity and commitment. Additionally, RSA Academy periodically provides exceptional students with scholarships, allowing them to gain a level of professional skills that they otherwise could not obtain. RSA Academy welcomes applications from international students fluent in English and will provide them with assistance in securing housing in the Vancouver area.
