Hello, I’m Ravneet. I’m a student living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I have created this page for a school assignment to raise awareness about the diminishing state of our oceans. I hope many can use this as a source of knowledge and information to help take action towards making our oceans sustainable and healthy again. This page will be focusing on ocean pollution and destructive fishing practices.
Oceans and seas make up 70% of our planet and we rely on them for food, energy and water.
Many people are aware of pollution and unsustainable practices on land but are you aware of what is going on underwater in our oceans?
Do you know how you can help and save our oceans?
As good human beings, we should take action. To start off, we can all take small steps such as stop using plastic bags, straws and products with micro beads. When buying fish and seafood, do your research and try to support sustainable fishing.
