Ra'Quan Singleton

"Never stay down, don't let the past haunt you because you can rise above!" -Ra'Quan Singleton. Those are words that I live by everyday because every circumstance that I was put in I have always rose above. Coming from a single parent home I was suppose to drop out of highschool by the age of 16 but I rose above. Even things such as being the worst player on my basketball team to becoming one of the best. I rose above every obstacle that was placed in my way and you can too!

To tell you a little about myself, I am a thinker. I believe in the power of the mind. I constantly think everyday for new ideas to revolutionize the world. I will not rest until I have made an impact in this world. To me thinking is the father of ideas and those ideas then turn into inventions. Another thing about myself is that I believe in the well being of others. I will go out of my way to help a stranger, friend or family member. Some deem that as a weekness I see it as a strength because I am doing my part in becoming a great person. Recently, I have stumbled upon the idea of being a "social entrepreneur" because I want to impact the world in the largest way. I feel if you do not leave an impact on atleast one person then you are not doing what you were meant to be doing.. It is the calling of life.. Well for me!
