Robert Spencer
Robert Spencer is currently attending #7 nationally ranked "Up-and-coming" liberal arts college, Christopher Newport University. He is majoring in Economics and plans to earn a MBA degree in the future. Before attending Christopher Newport, he studied at Marymount University in Arlington Virginia. He is a graduate of Flint Hill School, an independent school in the Washington, DC area. While at Flint Hill School he worked for Bisnow Media, a digital media company based in Washington D.C. In this position he was responsible for reporting on events involving former President and Mrs. George H.W. Bush and leading industry figures.
Spencer has worked as personal assistance to actor, writer and producer George Caceres in association with Youth Film Academy and John Robert Powers Modeling Agency. This work included development of a media placement strategy for the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. He also participated in the annual iPOP convention in Las Vegas, a major gathering for aspiring youth artists in television, film, and recording industries.
Spencer created key strategic moves to help further the startup, ChampionSearch, an online job board platform focused towards younger adults. He individually raised $250,000 and developed a strong directors board having graduates from Harvard, Princeton, and Georgetown. These graduates held experience in business, sales, and marketing – domestically and internationally. Some key prospective clients for ChampionSearch included: Marriott, Ritz Carlton, and Christopher Newport University. ChampionSearch currently has two patent-pendings on two of their applications. Moreover, LimeLight Networks offered to handle ChampionSearch's technological infrastructure, building the platform from the ground up. LimeLight Networks is a company that offers cloud-base services, mobile applications, as well as many other services, to clients around the world. Their clients include: Facebook, Amazon, Dreamworks, Microsoft, and more.
