I love music. No matter what mood i'm in music is always there waiting to be played. 6 years ago i taught myself to play the guitar by watching YouTube videos. That was the best decision I've ever made. Playing the guitar and writing your own music is the most theraputic activity you will ever experience. It allows you to realease all emotions you may be feeling, whether happy or sad or mad or excited. You can get it all out, and I am SO beyond thankful I have music in my life. I would love to play music someday for other people to hear, but it is much harder than you may think to put yourself out there and sing for everyone. It would definitely be a dream of mine to pursue something musically oriented, but for now i'll stick to playing with my close friends and family. There's no better support system then them. Who knows though, maybe someday i'll have the courage to audition for something such as The Voice or America's Got Talent. Or maybe my path will cross with a famous singer/song writer as I travel to each and every state in the United States. I don't know what's going to happen in my future, but i do know that music will always be a part of it.
