I am a missionary nurse and a retired police officer. I am passionate about service, crisis response, and trauma recovery, and I am putting my experience to work to serve the people of Uganda, East Africa.

Some think it quite strange that I would make such a jump of careers, but where I thought I was transitioning from "protect and serve" to "care and heal" I was mistaken. It is not a graduation from one to the other, but a combination of both.
