Rob Treynor

Cleveland native and Cleveland State Alumni Rob Treynor moved to the tiny hamlet of London, Ohio in 2007 where began working for The Madison Press. He most recently served as its managing editor.
In addition, Rob has edited several other CivitasMedia publications, including MyOwn Rural Life, The Plain City Advocate and the Mt. Sterling Tribune.
Rob has worked in various capacities for the Lancaster Eagle Gazette, Newark Advocate, The Federal Voice, Curiocity Columbus, and Columbus' Suburban Newspapers (SNP) in the past.
Prior to following his passion in journalism, Rob was an interactive designer for the Griswold-Eshleman and Lord, Sullivan & Yoder ad agencies, developing websites for clients such as Scotts Miracle-Gro, Kinetico, and Damon's.
Awards won by Mr. Treynor during his career include four from the Associated Press, two from the Society of Professional Journalists, and WIRED Magazine's "Geek of the Week."
Rob married Shannon M. Treynor in 1998 and the two of them have three children in the London Public Schools system.
In 2015, he and Shannon purchased the local closed single-screen theater, and re-opened it, with crowdfunding help from the community via Indiegogo.
