SYNOPSIS

SUMMARY
I’m a Linux Engineer with skills in cloud administration, system administration, virtualization and leadership. I enjoy connecting people with technology solutions that are easy to use, affordable, and sustainable over time. I'm familiar with, and a huge supporter of, the DevOps culture and how to make it work with a large team in a fast paced environment. Information security has also been an interest of mine. I lead a team of Windows, Linux and networking engineers who were dedicated to increasing security of our servers. I was previously working on the CoreOS project. I also maintained our high-availability clusters, Debian packaging and various system tools and scripts.

OPTIONS
--admin systems

Extensive experience with the configuration, hardening, and maintenance of various Linux distributions, including:

* Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Fedora, CentOS
* Debian, Ubuntu

Comfortable working with open source Docker and vagrant installations in large-scale environments.Experienced in rapid deployment and configuration management technologies such as kickstarts, and Puppet. Able to set up vital Linux infrastructure components including load balancers, DNS servers, web/application servers, and mail servers. Familiar with network-level security policies as well as server-level security layers like SELinux.

--admin Security

Skilled in preventing DDOS and many attacks and tacking mitigation steps before incident times. Well-versed in benchmarking in windows and linux and harden the servers. Worked on vulnerability assessment.

--cloud

Hypervisors:

* Docker - Instant provisioning of containers and managing them using advanced networking.
* CoreOS - Configuration of the Cluster and maintaining a fleet of clusters to have HA and less downtime.

Provisioning and Management:

* Vagrant - Sharing and creating automatic deployment using Vagrantfile to provisions complicated instances.
* Ansible - Scripting the deployment to provision instances.
* Chef
* Apache MeOS
