Hi, I’m Rubelyn, but most people call me Ruby. I’ve spent nearly a decade building my career at Infosys BPM in Alabang, where I currently work as a Quality Analyst. Before that, I survived the beautiful chaos of several BPO companies, providing technical support for U.S.-based service providers. It’s been years of troubleshooting, learning, growing, and professionally asking, “Have you tried turning it off and on again?” with a calm voice while internally fighting for my life.
Outside work, I somehow manage to wear multiple hats without losing all my remaining sanity. I’m also a proud co-owner of a baby clothing online business that I started with my best friend. Surprisingly, our friendship survived inventory stress, delayed shipments, and choosing product colors at 2 AM, which honestly deserves an award on its own.
When I’m not doing QA reviews or replying to orders, you’ll probably find me in the kitchen. Cooking is one thing I genuinely take pride in, and baking is next on my list once life stops scheduling side quests every week. Give me ingredients, good music, and enough butter, and I can probably solve half my problems.
I’m naturally introverted, but I know how to switch gears when needed especially at work. I used to play guitar and casually attempt piano, though I still search for chords like I’m decoding ancient scrolls. I sing too, but for now, my concerts remain exclusive and limited to bathroom acoustics and random midnight confidence.
Somewhere in between QA audits, business meetings, music playlists, and existential Libra thoughts, I also discovered I love writing. Mostly because sometimes feelings are easier to organize in paragraphs than in real life. So if you ever read something dramatic, slightly unhinged, but weirdly wise online… there’s a good chance I wrote it during my “main character” hours.
As a Libra woman, I naturally chase balance, even when life keeps testing me with deadlines, responsibilities, and emotionally expensive decisions. One quote that has stayed with me through every season is:
“We have to be greater than what we suffer.”
Music is also a huge part of who I am. I love old music, new music, and everything in between. Honestly, I get suspicious of people who say they don’t like ‘90s music because that decade gave us legends. But I also appreciate how today’s artists continue to shape music in their own way. Life’s too short to choose between TLC and Taylor Swift when you can enjoy both.
So in short: I’m a QA by profession, a multitasker by survival, a writer during emotional plot twists, and a creative at heart. If you ever need someone to audit a case, cook you dinner, overanalyze song lyrics, or write something poetic after one minor inconvenience… I’m your girl. 😉
