I’m Ruben Dattebayo (born October 27, 2005) is an Indian entrepreneur and the founder of Dattebayo Investments Pvt. Ltd. He is known for his visionary approach and commitment to creating a better world through his business and social initiatives. His guiding principle is “The World is One Family, Believe It!”

Early Life

Ruben Dattebayo, whose birth name is Ruben Behera, was born on October 27, 2005, in a mud house in Binchhanapalli, a small village in the Ganjam block of the Ganjam district in Odisha, India. When Ruben was born, breathing seemed a struggle, as if life had taken a step back. But after a moment, life embraced him again, and he took his first breath. It was then that his mother took a sigh of relief, and that first breath marked the beginning of his journey.

Education

Ruben completed his early education at the Primary School in Binchhanapalli. After passing the JNV entrance exam, he stepped into Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Ganjam, where he pursued commerce from 6th to 12th grade, residing in the hostel.

In childhood, Ruben dreamed of becoming a scientist, but as age progressed, dreams evolved - from wanting to be a scientist to joining the army, then developing an interest in architecture. However, it was in the 10th grade when he found inspiration from Ratan Tata and Elon Musk. Seeing the poverty in his family and the realities of this modern world, he decided to become a benevolent businessman.

Career

In May 2024, Ruben founded Dattebayo Investments Pvt. Ltd., a principal investment holding company and promoter of Dattebayo companies, headquartered in Palur, Ganjam, Odisha, India. The company's tagline, "The World is One Family, Believe It!", reflects Ruben's inclusive and global outlook.

Personal Life

Ruben uses his professional name "Ruben Dattebayo," which reflects his values and company's mission. He finds inspiration from figures like Ratan Tata and Elon Musk. Ruben is a big fan of Nancy Jewel McDonie, whom he admires greatly, has a crush on, and loves very dearly. His life motto "Dattebayo: The World is One Family, Believe It!" guides his actions and decisions, whether in his business ventures or personal life. He strives to implement this philosophy through inclusive practices and community-focused initiatives.
