Ruby Darling

Ruby has been an avid costumer since a very young age. With the support and fostering of her crazy family and "family" of artists, vaudevillians, circus freaks, cosplayers, and drag queens, she has had a wealth of experience with everything from making pinup dresses for herself and her friends, creating full on prosthetics for film and television, designing surgical simulators, producing theatre, and everything in between.

In 2011, Ruby established Skill Focus: Burlesque, a nerdy burlesque troupe with a penchant for comedy, parody, and cosplay. Since it's inception, Skill Focus has performed all over Florida, at conventions, theatres, bars, and the Orlando Fringe Festival, lending it's brand of Nudity and Nerdity to entertaining the geeky masses.

In 2013, Ruby got her first gig as a professional cosplay from Wizards of the Coast, whom she had been working with as event staff for several years. That's right, she's living the dream.
