Im Ruby, a freelance makeup artist based in Bristol. I have recently graduated from Bath Academy of Media Makeup under the direction of Peter Swords King and many other industry professionals, studying hair and makeup for film, television, theatre and fashion. Previous to embarking upon this path I spent 3 years modelling for Select, a London based agency which has provided me with valuable on set experiences and an insight into the editorial and fashion industry. It was during this time that I developed a keen interest for the art of makeup and the artist’s ability to transform and create characters.
