With over 20 years of experience in traditional dance forms such as ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary, Ruby Talons brings a wealth of technique, creativity, and passion to the dance community. For the past 7 years, she has been dedicated to the art of pole dancing, and for 3 years, she has been sharing that expertise as an instructor at Aradia Fitness, empowering students to unlock their full potential.

Ruby is a captivating pole and gogo dance performer whose flowy yet sharp movement style, deep musical intuition, and commanding stage presence allow her to dance with effortless precision while telling powerful stories that demand the audience’s full attention. She is a founding member and performer in the Polesque Series, which has brought her the incredible experience of gracing various stages in Edmonton including the International Fringe Theatre Festival. Ruby has also showcased her talent at various electronic music shows and festivals, representing YEG’s local femme art collective Dollhaus.

In addition to live performances, Ruby is a seasoned competitor. She won first runner up at the Canadian Pole Fitness Championships 2021, was a finalist in two categories at Pole Theatre Canada 2022, and most recently she earned 1st place in the Contemporary category at Skripped Down 2024.

Ruby emits passion and joy at every performance she is a part of and continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in pole, dance and performance art.
