Hello There! My name is Ruchita and I am a software developer with a passion for all things creative!

I graduated from Stony Brook University in the year 2011 with a Masters Degree in Computer Science. Post that, I worked at Bank of America for 3 years on developing a software for Equity Trading using Java.

Currently, I work as a Data Engineer at Vimeo and have been taking small steps towards learning Functional Programming using Scala.

I love cooking, traveling, do-it-yourself projects, zentangles and books! My blog Ruchyumis the medium through which I share the places I have been, the food that I cook, the diy-projects that I like, the books that amuse me, the experiences that I have had and the things I love.
