Rudolf is Marketing Director at Softex International, the second largest and the most fastest growing personal hygiene (baby diapers, baby toiletries, sanitary napkins, adult diaper, wet tissues) companies in South East Asia. Prior to this, Rudolf has held a number of senior management positions in marketing, sales, strategy and business development in various companies including Belfoods Indonesia, Roche Indonesia, Camping Gaz Indonesia, HM Sampoerna (now Sampoerna Phillip Morris Indonesia), and Bentoel (now Bentoel British American Tobacco/BAT). Since 1998, Rudolf has also served as a freelance strategy consultant for some of Indonesia's most successful companies.
Rudolf received most of education in the UK and came back home in 1992 with a Certificate in Social Science from Warwick University, BA Hons in Government from Essex University and an MBA from Cardiff Business School, The University of Wales College of Cardiff (now Cardiff University). Rudolf is a Fellow with the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Chartered Institute of Leadership and Management. As Doctor of Business Administration candidate at the University of Liverpool, Rudolf has continued to research and write widely on the subject of sales, marketing, strategy and management. In 2001, the Eksekutif Business Press published the compilation of his writings into a book in 2001 entitled 'Strategi Manajemen Praktis Menuju Indonesia Baru' (Practical Strategic Management Towards New Indonesia). His present interest is in the application of the Complex Adaptive System (CAS) as a methodology to help organizations to co-evolve and able to shape their competitive landscape
