Project: VMware DC Migration to Colocation Facility

Successfully managed the migration of a VMware infrastructure to a colocation facility, ensuring minimal downtime. Utilized vSphere Replication to seamlessly migrate 400+ virtual machines, including critical back-office trade support systems, while maintaining business continuity.

Project: Design and Deploy Citrix Remote Access

Build remote access solution utilizing NetScaler and RemotePC. Deploy production NetScaler solution to provide secure Citrix Gateway for users to access their VDI's and applications. Create policies to ensure no leakage company data when access from BYOD devices through Citrix. Configure NetScaler authentication policies to require Azure MFA.

Project: Migrate Storage Infrastructure

Migrate Storage system from 3PAR to Pure Storage. Install Pure Storage arrays at both Prod and DR sites. Configure FC zoning to all the Esxi hosts on our Cisco 5k switches. Configure storage pools, ActiveDR replication, and safe mode. Migrate VMFS datastores to new arrays.

Project: Setup Disaster Recovery for Onprem and Azure Virtual Machines

Configure VMware SRM to manage fail over of business critical machines. Connect SRM to Pure Storage replication. Setup protection groups and recovery plans for all critical machines.

Configure Azure Site Recovery for VM's in production Azure accounts. Setup replication and recovery plans.

Plan yearly DR tests with application support and users. Collect evidence and reports for third party audits.

Project: Cost Savings

Review all circuit and IT vendor contracts across all US office/DC locations. Renegotiate or replace any contracts that are not offering best value. Was able to save company 300k+ over 3 year period.
