Rudy Weimer is an actor who was born and raised in the foothills of Boulder, Colorado, USA. His father teaches geology at the University of Colorado, and his mother is an information architect and amateur bass player.

Instead of playing baby music when he was little, his father played The Beatles and Bob Dylan. This made Rudy pursue arts at a very young age. He started drumming lessons at the age of 9.

Inspired by “The Lord of the Rings” as a child, Rudy learned archery, and at the age of 9 won second place statewide for a 25-yard competition. Rudy also traveled with his father to teaching assignments in Australia, England, Ireland, Norway, France, Italy, Israel, India, China, and Japan.

As a high school freshman, Rudy was handpicked by the GRAMMY Foundation as one of eighty promising musicians worldwide. Rudy earned this honor again the next year. In his senior year of high school, his band placed second regionally in NAMM’s battle of the bands. As a trained drummer, he can play styles ranging from rock to jazz to big band.

As an actor, Rudy trained at the Denver Center for Performing Arts, CU Denver, and most recently at the Lee Strasberg Institute in LA. Rudy also studied and interned at Dog House Music for 6 years, learning different instruments, production and management skills.

Rudy aims to be a disciplined, reliable, versatile, and charismatic actor for tv and films. Rudy believes that all creativity -- in arts or in business -- springs from the same well, and he thrives in collaboration with storytelling teams.
