Rugenia Smith Anderson

My journey as a School Counselor began at Louisiana Tech University. Leading study groups proved beneficial as I was able to learn and teach simultaneously. As a result, I earned a Bachelor's in Sociology, a Master's in Psychology and a Master's in Counseling. I have worked with people and provided counseling while employed with the State of Louisiana, the City of Shreveport and at various schools. The experiences in high and elementary school settings have equipped me to effectively assess and respond to crisis situations.
