Hello, I’m Rukma, a trainer and researcher, with special interest in the areas of language and communication.

I have a master's degree and PhD in Mass Communication.

As an assistant professor, I have engaged classes for both undergraduate and postgraduate students of communication at private universities in India and abroad.

I have presented papers in national and international conferences both in India and abroad - with fair amount of research going into them. My last papers were on healthcare communication and challenges, presented at an international conference in Symbiosis University, Pune, in October 2016, and another on internal communication strategies and return on investment, presented at an international conference in Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad, in January 2017.

Unleashing my potential and living up to my passion, I have conducted workshops in the area of communications. My last workshops were on copywriting and on personality development in November 2016, and on universal design for learning in May 2017.

I love attending workshops of interest too, the last one was on graduate employability, in November 2016.

Having visited countries like Norway, Germany, Singapore, Austria and Belgium for official purposes, and of course several others including the USA for leisure, I deeply appreciate diversity and intercultural nuances.

I occasionally blog, sketch and write for newspapers.
